The May issue of Climate Confidential is taking a look at “Smart Cities.” Our 6-person team takes turns editing each month, and I was on deck for this month’s package. To kick things off, I wrote a brief meditation on the questions that still loom about smart cities. Namely, what will it be like to actually live there? My colleagues are doing stories all month that attempt to answer this question.
